Today Only - Domestic Airlines Offer Flights into 2013 from $96 R/T

Here's something you might not know... when one airline offers a fare sale, all the others attempt to match or break it with their own flight deals.  So when one domestic carrier (won't say who) offered insane fares through mid-February, everyone scrambled to match it.  Who wins?  The passengers.  About time, right?  Sheesh, at some point I thought they were going to charge me for restroom breaks as well for having a carry-on bag.

Sample fares include:
  • Denver - Phoenix... $96 R/T
  • Atlanta - Orlando... $118 R/T
  • Boston - Dallas... $250 R/T
  • Los Angeles - Salt Lake City... $220 R/T
  • Chicago - Orlando... $138 R/T
  • San Francisco - Ft. Lauderdale... $266 R/T
  • Seattle - Los Angeles... $238 R/T
Each route offers sale fares from such carriers as United, American Airlines, Frontier, AirTran, Delta, and more. I read about this at Smarter Travel, who has the skinny on blackout dates and how to find the fares. It would be easier to go there for information and do a search than to try each airline separately.
